Is this normal?

My truck has been down so I had a friend haul our old 32ft 5th wheel to camp for me, he has a 2001 powerstroke and hauls a 5ther about 3500 pounds heaver than our, any how traveling the same road I've pulled with cruse sit at about 60 and could pull the hills without down shifts or even touching the throttle His auto was kicking down even with 0verdrive locked out!

2 problems:
1. 5spd vs auto (boo auto!!!-trust me)
2. cummins vs pstroke (yeah cummins)

Just smile and know the cummins will pull it!

sounds about right to me..

the powerstroke will pull it, but it cannot hold torque like the cummins can..
