Need a good Load range "G" tire!!!

My almost new 2007 horse trailer has Load Boss tires on it. The tread is seperating from the tire. Bulging out on the outside. They are trying to get them replaced under warranty but want a back up plan. I guess there are some goodyear tires that are top notch and run about 278.00 installed Does anyone know any places online I could purchase tires and maybe save a little. Thanks!

Upgrade to 17.5" wheels and tires. Generally you can get 6k a wheel and tire.

The Goodyear 16" RST G rated is an excellent tire and a good company behind it. You need 110psi rated rims and steel valve stems.

Michelin XPS Ribs, from the research I've done, are the top dog. I'm not a big fan of Michelin but if I was going to get G's I would get these.

Thanks a bunch, I am waiting to hear back from the manufacturer for the ones I have. But I wanted a back up thanks I wrote down these two brands. I do have a 110 rated rim as the ones on it now are 110 PSI/

I dont believe the Michelin Ribs come in a load range G. My 2009 Cedar Creek Fifth wheel has those load boss tires and I will be watching them closely. How many miles did you get out of the tires

I stand corrected. I've done so much research lately on tires for my trailer I got confused. As far as 'E' rated goes, I'd go w/Ribs but that's not what your looking for so sorry 'bout that.

I suspect the Hankooks are LT tires?
The Goodyear RST's are rated at 3750lbs. get metal valave stems. You can shop local Goodyear dealers, as well as Discount Tire, NTB, etc. Check Discount on line or give them a call. These tires are designed for trailers with heavy loads. they come standard on many new heavy fivers. If they ever fail, Goodyear will cover them & damages.
