So much for free trade, and the corresponding pricing it should be at, apparently we're getting screwed .

IMHO.....first i don't believe a RV/Marine battery is a true deep cycle!....they are built with heavier plates to take the pounding from the marine enviorment! They are a compromise for the rver/boater. I use them because they are the ones on sale...lol. I like to use a battery I can get anywhere so if one goes south while I'm on the road it is an easy fix. I use a 30W solar panel to maintain the batteries. It was cheaper than a super smart charger that has to be pluged into 110v to keep things ready. I always have topped off batteries and they have never been dead because I forgot to plug it in.

I have 2 6 volt Rv batteries by Interstate. I researched a bit first, and they are supposed to be top quality. The 6 volts are supposed to ast up to 10X's longer when dry camping.

Turns out my TT does have a decent IntelliPower converter. Bought a Charge Wizard for it today, so now I'm down to choosing the batteries.

TurboTed, do your 6v fit in a standard battery box?

Thumbs up

You can get the 6V from Wally World/Sams for less than $50, made by Interstate. If they go bad, lots of places to replace them. Nothin wrong with Interstate, IMHO.
