My Visibility- Will It Be Okay?
My Visibility- Will It Be Okay?
I'm going to be pulling a 12' enclosed trailer that is about 7.5' wide. I don't have tow mirrors. Anyone else tow something this wide with the standard mirrors. How did it work? Thanks.
I agree with the above. if you have time to wait, buy them on Ebay, they sell very cheap (like $ 10.00 you know....it's Ebay
)
Otherwise standard OEM tow mirrors are the other option.
You should be doing fine with your stock ones, be sure to check your sides before turning and put blinkers out waaay before turning or changing lanes.

I tow my boat sometimes with the tow mirrors in normal mode just because I'm lazy
. The beam is 8'-6" but the trailer is 8'. I can see fine on the sides and OK behind, I usually tow with the mirrors extended because of the better view behind but could easly drive with them retracted. May miss seeng a few of the "rice burners" that come up from behind (20 mph faster )and zip in the passing lane inches from the trailer. If I just happen to be changing lanes and catch a car just about moving to pass I figure they can slow down some for a minute or two
