pulled trailer for second time
pulled trailer for second time
I've posted on here before with same problem now need advice. I have visited old posts not really any help.I had 2wd dually measured hitch bought megacab 3500 put hitch in receiver adjusted hitch too same height.the mega dropped 6 or so inches dually only 2" or so. anyway second trip on hwy felt very unsafe. trailer was little higher in front than back . So correct me if im wrong I plan on leveling trailer measure tongue and adjust hitch again . I use wd bars tongue weight alot i guess 900 to 1100. the travel trailer weights loaded 9400lb
webbfoot,
I am sure there is a question in that post some where. I just don't see it.
I run my trailers level. If that is what your asking? If I run it high in the front the trailer will sway.

May want to increase your tongue weight in #50-100 lb incrument or decrease rear of trailer the same amount. My boat weights about #6500 lbs and the tongue is #630 or so. If the gas is full in the boat (70 gallons, tank near the back) the rig wants to over steer a little. I like to keep my boat less than a 1/4 tank for towing. The 200-300 lbs makes a difference for me The gas tank for the boat is about 2 feet behind the 2nd axle. I am working from memory here because my boat is in storage and it's freezing rain now and the season will not start for me till April
