Getting one installed as soon as my '04 dually cummins comes in. The manufacturer hasn't pushed the product but I've driven with one and man do they haul.

Its been talked about before.......converting a 5th to a gooseneck in most case's puts stress on the pin box and can crack it.....most RV manufactures will void any warranty if this happens....I would check with your RV manufacturer about using this conversion....and check with Mumby to see if they warranty agains any problems that this conversion would cause
I admit its a good looking conversion kit.....maybe one of the better ones I've seen

I would sure check with the trailer manufacturer before using that setup. Looks neat, but a little physics and the laws of levers will tell you it will put more strain on the frame of your trailer - - and you sure don't want that happening. I even went to far as to raise my king pin and hitch as far as possible to reduce strain.

The picture on the website you referred us to showed a fifth wheel - - a trailer that you camp in (or live in, whatever) with the kingpin removed and an extender put on it in place of putting a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of the truck. The typical gooseneck is the farm trailer with the framework made to connect to a ball in the bed of the truck. The extender to the kingpin of a fifth wheel is what we are referring to as stressing the frame of the trailer - - exactly what that website shows. I would sure check it out with the trailer manufacturer before using it.

A 5th wheel is the same type hitch that over the road tractor trailers use
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A gooseneck use's a ball hitch
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
These are not the same.....each takes a differant type of receiver hitch setup
5th wheel = 2" pin
Gooseneck = 2 5//16 ball
As you can see lumping these together and calling them both the same thing is wrong
I have used a tractor to pull my 5th wheels before but I could never pull a gooseneck with a tractor unless it was setup special with a gooseneck ball hitch

ive got a floating 5th wheel in my truck,floats anyway,it is the only way,a standard 5th wheel pulls and twists on the bed and the trailer(ive got 2 of those styles for sale,)i love the floater,the truck rides great with it and with out the feeling of the bed getting ripped off.i feel so much safer with that than a goose neck,something about that lil ball worrys me and with a goose neck yo need safty chain to you bed with a 5th wheel no extra chains required, just a opion may it help you decide i hope so, good luck
