Had to accelerate off the entry ramp onto the hill.
Shifted to 6th to soon, lost MPH, That is a short hill, but
I think steeper than it looks,.

This sounds like some of the bone head things they do in OK. Hey, I know, let's put a tool booth at the bottom of a valley so that when folks slow down to go through they have to start from the bottom and do it pulling a 1/2 mile long grade. Brilliant I say. How 'bout we put them at the top of a hill so that gravity helps slow traffic coming up to it and helps them get going again when leaving....is that so hard of a concept? Retards, I say.

You R Definately Correct.u R No Stranger To Hauling, But The 6 Sp Is Alot Stronger Than The 5 Sp,but Like You Said Overdrive Is Not 1:1.i Put 1/2 Million Miles On A Truck Running It In Overdrive, and Had No Tranny Failures.i Ran The Best Lubrcant Out There.i Also Have A Motor That Has 460,000 Miles Using The Same Lubricant And U Can't Hardly Feel The Ring Groove.(i Know This Because I Changed The Head Gasket)i'm Not Boasting, Just Commending The Lubricant!therE's Alot Of Other Things I Can Share, Just Pm Me.
