Dave,
I am noting several are saying their brake drops out below 30mph. Mine is there all the way to, and including, idle. It has very good braking power - - it is Jacobs unit.

Bob;

Mine drops out at 19mph. Thats the bottom end on the computer program on an automatic. It releases the lock up on the torque converter.

Sorry you got wet checking those threads. I'm close. Based on several peoples looks like I need one more turn in. Somewhere between 4 and 5 threads.

We are in TT Chesapeake. Departing for Charleston for the Dixie Travelers campout on the 24th or 25th depending how the campout goes with the Merry Marylanders. Road Runners have a campout in November 14th I think at Rally Park. Mark it on the calendar.

Mine does as well but it is a nv5600 I believe the Auto is program releases the exbrake to protect the transmission. Someone said in a previous post that the BD brake hold better than the Jacobs I have driven two trucks with the BD and one did hold better than mine but I felt that it was better because it had 4:10 gears and the other one and mine have 3:73s Mine with the Jacobs hold better than the BD with 3:73s. I installed mine myself when the truck had 5000kms on it (3000miles) and other than a small vacumn leak one time I have never had a problem. The warm up feature works well exept that I have a lady that lives across the back alley from me that is over 80 and she has asked me not to use it as it makes to much noise with the ex brake on, other than that she is a good neighbour so I comply.
