How much PSI in airbags?

Is there a standard amount of PSI that folks are running in airbags in regards to weight of the trailer or is it just whatever gets the truck and trailer leveled out? Thanks.

Most have a min of 5psi...keeps the bag from sagging where it shouldn't.

Most pressure I use is 60-70psi. Levels the truck out and keeps the suspension off the bump stops.

I run about 60 when towing the Willie Wagon. About 7-8 if empty so I con't have to worry about gauge accuracy.

Don't know if this is the proper way, but, I find highth of rear bumper, hook up 5er, and bring back to same highth. On mine it's 40#.

With my slide-in camper its beneficial to add enough air to help the suspension but not completely unload the leaf springs (typically 25 - 30 psi for my camper); partial load on the springs helps maintain vehicle stability.

Looks like your getting hits from all over the board!
I run 20 to 25 lbs in mine. That keeps the truck level with the el grande 5ver.

I just got done loading my 22ft enclosed with all my worldly posessions. 95 psi barely got her level.

We use an 06 3500 series with the firestone airbag system,
Pulling a 40ft gooseneck flatbed, hauling up to 20k pounds,
keeping the psi at about 30psi seems to work the best for the smoothest ride.

I've got the Firestone airbags on my truck. I run them about 25 PSI empty and 75 to 80 when I'm pulling my RV/toyhauler, a 26 foot Keystone.

Rides great either empty or loaded with these bags. This by far is the best upgrade I've done.

I have Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags on my truck and unless I am carrying something heavy I keep around 10 PSI in them.

They were all part of an attempt to get a better ride but after I reworked my springs I don’t really use them.

The Firestone convoluted bags have an internal bumper built in so if they were run empty they will not be damaged.

I was told for every 1 PSI of air they would lift 10# of weight.
