On the drivers side of the engine valve cover (Black plastic) read the sticker for the HP numbers. 305 Hp is the 305/555 and 325 is the 325/600. The engines don't have auxilary oil coolers from what I have seen.

With the oil being sprayed on the under sides of the pistons for cooling, there needs to be a way to get rid of the heat in the oil. There is an oil cooler on the heater hose line; That's what the oil filter mounts to!

Likewise, I want to make sure mine will last. That's why I put on the gauges, just so I know what is going on. The factory water temp gauge is reasonably accurate, even if you don't get a number. However, the factory oil pressure gauge is a TOTAL LIE! Hot (pull a hill w/ load) oil pressure reads ~40psi on the factory gauge, while the real gauge reads 12-14psi.
I am also **** about turbo (exhaust) cool down. I ALWAYS idle down to ~300F before every shutdown.
I also stay on top of the maintenance. I change oil at 7500, and the other fluids at the interval the owners manual calls for.
