I bought the Garmin GPS module for my Kenwood head unit.

The GPS module is in the glovebox, and the pickup is stuck to the inside of the windshield behing the rearview mirror. The display is a full 7" in map mode.

Mmmmm I like that! Does that screen support the touch screen capabilites of the GPS? Do you know of any other GPS's that work with that screen? I want one like that for the Jeep geared towards off road mapping.

When in gps mode can you still listen to cd's or sat radio??

Yep. You can even watch DVDs and just listen to the directions! I should clarify I'm referring to the Kenwood DNX 7100.

Yes, it is a touchscreen. And offroad is an option when picking a new destination.

True. Watch TV or a DVD or listen to the stereo and it will mute that input to give you routing directions
