I was looking into buying the garmin nuvi 200 until wally world had the garmin c330 on sale for $128 during the black friday stampede. It was worth the hassle, and alot better than my garmin emap handheld.

Love my new Garmin Streetpilot C580. Like answering my phone thru it. I guess it is probably no good for offroad? Bought for my wife for Christmas, she said she did not want anything practical?? So got her something else and kept Garmin. Would buy same one again.

I just got the Garmin C330 as well. I chose the sexy British accent and named her Maggie. Okay, I need to get a life. I love the screen display and quickness to recalculate a route.

My only complaint is the bulky size. These aren't flat. I'll need to take it with me when I do RV trade shows. It will still fit nicely in my carry-on.

I put mine right next the rear view mirror on the driver's side, but I want to get one of those bean bag things for the dash. I really don't want to glue down the little disc that comes with it.

Not sure which "little disc" came with your GPS, but for my Street Pilot there are two different discs available. One with hole in the center is a permanant type. One that is solid is temporary. I used the temporary and it comes off quite easily, even after 2-1/2 years. Cut it with dental floss or fishing line, then a little goo gone on the residue and dash good as new.

My father got the garmin nuvi 350 with blue tooth option awhile bacik.

It is real slick and easy. My eight year old daughter picked it up and could make it work immediately. Shouldn't take us old guys too much longer.

Ohh he also loves the British ladys accent but named her "Lisa" I think my mom is just a little bit jealous.

I use the vacuum cup mount cause it goes from the dodge 1/2 ton to the vw and back again. Always mounted low just above the dash so it's not a safety issue.

I think something is not right with the voice commands. Everytime I miss a turn the thing cusses at me then recalculates..

Ohh, I supposed to follow the directions? I assumed that thing was just a substitute for when my wife wasn't in the truck. My GPS says things like, "Those are brake lights up there!"

The other day I reached over and tried to turn the volume **** on the side of my wife's head. It was a lonely night but **** was it worth it!

I got my wife a Garmin c330 last year, works great but big and heavy. Fall off the window all the time so I keep it in the drink holder and it works. Bought my daughter a Nuvi 200 much better can put it in your pocket and find your way around NYC.

sorry for my last reply on the garmin nuvi 200. i downloaded a the next more race into it and the only thing that it shows is the mile markers. it will also show the major dirt roads in the area and will navigate on the dirt roads, however will not track or route anything like the garmin legend hcx i have. but it does work really well for the street.........

I've got a Tomtom 300 and it works great. I've had it for about a year. Parents have a similar model, slightly older and it hasn't failed them.

Good for their price as an entry level unit
