F650 Question??

F650 Question??
Yes, this is the wrong forum but i like you guys.
I just got approved for an f650 with cummins motor and 2500 allyison tranny crew cab chassis cab for 55k. Truck is brand new.
I plan on getting a 6 car carrier to go with this for my biz.
Question is will the cummins pull all that weight cause my cummins with my 3 car feels like a dawg sometimes. Is it the same 6.7 motor?? Should I find a upgraded tranny cause I believe the 2500 is the small heavy dutty tranny?? What gear ratio should I get?? Any other advice?? Should I spend the extra dough and get the cat motor????
SHOULD I GET A DIFFERENT TRUCK??? I was looking at the freightshakers m2 but they are more expensive by 15k and would not finance me since i have only been in biz for 6 months. Even with a used rig. So i guess i might be stuck with an f650. Please any help will be nice

Same engine. Hauling a 6 car its going to be a dog. I would look International and spec a DT530. The DT is a torque monster and also can be rebuilt in frame for less than half the cost of a reman cat or cummins. Plus with International you have access to 24hr commercial shops. Also the cab is wide enough to have a bed in the back and claim sleeper berth time. Think if you go Ford within a few months you may regret that 55k purchase.

I hate to burst you bubble even more but its probably less power but they can bump in up without hurting the emissions
This is what a cummins dealer increase it to (your output it probably 220HP now)

What if I jump to the cat motor?????? and/or taller gears. I really would like a freightshaker m2 but I cant get financed due to stricter qualifications.
Anybody else have experience with financing and medium duty trucks???? I cant get a personal or biz loan. So it would have to be a dealer/bank auto loan???

That F650's gonna be weak!
100 less HP and 7500lbs extra wieght. Has higher GVW and GCVW, but power wise it will be way worse than the Dodge.....and ride like hell.
Why not just go class 8 and be done with it? Pick up a used 2-5 yr. old unit like a T-200o, 670, or 770.
Price would be about the same.

Now remember, my credit isnt that good and getting big rigs is very strict qualifications where as a f650 is just an regualar auto loan. Even used big rigs have same qualifictaions as new 1's. Thats why im stuck with an f650 or topkick and those topkicks are ugly.
So instead of saying an f650 is too small, please tell me how to build 1 or another way of getting a bigger truck.
PS To get a bigger truck, you have to be in biz for 2 years. THEY ARE REALLY STRICT NOW. I called up 3 different dealers of big rigs and all told me NO WAY with only a few months into biz. My credit isnt that great either and money down isnt much. No more then 5k.
So please tell me what to do.
PsS. odds are i might be selling my ram!!! I dont think I am gonna have enough capital to hire someone and do everything else. Plus with my 6 car, i can make extra dough for about 6 months, then get another 650 and 6xer and then hire someone else. Thats my plans, and hopefully I dont go broke in process. like brokers deciding to pay 10 cents per miles then

Unfortunately the cat motor is not able to do an in frame rebuild either. I had a topkick with 3116 that had 700k on it when I sold it and it ran fine, but I only hauled 2-3 cars with it and it was a dog. If I am not mistaken, the 650 is not rated for the load of a 6 car anyway, you would be pulling what 30-34k and thats a bunch for that rig.

No way.
Too much money for what you get. Med. duty trucks are overpriced and overrated.
If I ever have a SERIOUS need for anything more that the 3500, I'll step right into a class 8. I think in the long run, it will pay me back.
Lots of you guys haul for a living, so I'll be interested to see what you think.

Looks like A nice set-up,what motor is that (international or Mercedes),I went throught this a month ago when I needed a new truck with a 24 foot cube van box. I drove a Peterbuilt with a 5.9L a KW with a Kenworth with a 6.7L and a Sterling with a 6.7L & a HINO with a 8.3L. The 5.9 was more powerful with 4.44 that the 6.7L was with 4.88 gears. I spent my 70,000 on the HINO with the Inline 6-8.0L common rail engine,it has a performance setting and an econome setting(by flick of a switch) It is only rated to 230HP but man is it powerful, the cummins was nowhere close in power. If you never looked at a HINO lately definitly consider 1.
