Dually and Camper?

I am new to campers and Dodge Dually's, so here's my questions. I have just installed Torklift frame mounts tonight and have noticed that there are 2 holes on each reciever arm, one inner and one outer. Which is best to use when securing camper? The next question is that toklift's website shows relocation anchor kits for Dodge dually's. Are these generally necessary? I have just purchased a 2001 Frontier 10ft camper and have not had it in the truck yet...in fact I am supposed to pick it up on Friday. Can anyone comment on whether or not I may have problems? The only other thing is that I have been told I may need to space up the floor of the box so the camper clears the roof of the truck. Any truth to this and if so how much should I space it, 2"? (in other words several 2x4's?)

Everyone's opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

You will find out which hole to put the pin in when you load the camper. Mine is in the one that allows it to stick out the most. Before you pick up your camper I would suggest getting a bed mat. They help the camper resist moving around. As for spacers, I have only heard of Ford needing them in the bed.

Mine are inserted the most (no holes showing). I only Tork-lifted the front...rear goes to the bumder with happijacks.

Avoid placing the camper on wood or bare bed..it will slide around and likely damage the camper, truck or both over time. A heavy duty/cord reinforced rubber bedmat works wonders to keep it stuck. I think if one did have to shim up the camper..use rubber top and bottom and build it so it's locked in for/aft and side/side.

I dunno about 2004...my '91 camper fits my '01.5 like a glove with about 2" clearance over the roof. I heard the gen 3 had some camper issues (tapered bed???), but no specifics. Ford's do have a tall cab and have cabover clearance issues with some campers.
