If I can haul a $2500 horse in a gooseneck, that is where the Border Collies ride, law or no law.

A dog should be in the box. Check my pics. Just try putting a restraint on my dog. BTW he is 15 years old so don't start with the "It's too dangerous in the box" routine. He has ridden in the back since he was a pup.

For everyone that is about to get all worked up about his safety. You mind your business, I'll mind mine.

I toss a big blanket over the folding floor, and drape it over the seat back to catch any hair....He does 3 things while riding down the road: Curl up and sleep, stick his head out the window, or rest his chin on my shoulder and look out the windshield....

When we're hunting, thats another story Wet, muddy, smelly dog rides in a crate in the bed Whenever I carry the gun and camo out of the house, he beats me to the truck and sits there wating to go

Flash the Wonder Bassett likes to ride in the front or the back.

When he's up front, I have to remind him that he's not a lap dog and that I don't need his help driving. He tends to get me headed to the nearest bar ...

When he's in the back he climbs up on the wheel well and the ears start to flappin'. I don't worry about him fallin out as much as I worry about him catching flight !!

My Border Collie, like to rise in the passenger seat with her front paws on teh dash and looking out the window.
The BOSS would have a fit if i tried to make her ride on teh flatbed(the dog, not the BOSS......I know better )

When mine go I just fold up the back seat, flip the center arm rest up to keep them in back and they get the backseat floor. Around all the junk that is.

I saw a custom crossbed aluminum tool box that had built in cages underneath. It was one of the shallow tool boxes and was set up to hold two hunting dogs underneath. Really sharp set up.
