hotshots in california
does anybody know of where to find hotshot work in central california. theres a few car dealerships that i was thinking about checking into. just looking for some advice. i've searched around on this forum and found everything i'll need to beable to legally haul for hire. so i was just wondering where i could find some work. thanks

You might try www.centraldispatch.com. Seems to be a very popular site with car haulers but you'll have to get your authority and all that to get an account to login...

yeah i'm just looking to start out and it looks like you have to be an established carrier before you can even get an accout there. do you know of any other places to find jobs.

We were just talking about this in the other topic - you could try www.unitedroad.com. They are a broker by definition I think.
Basically they setup loads for you and take a cut (?).

Have you looked into hauling cars locally or regionally? I already have my tags, 2 car-trailer, insurance, etc for my own business, but wouldnt mind adding Cargo, getting my MCC, and hauling neighboring states, in the winter because my business does slow down.
