Brake Controller location?

I have had a 99 an 03 and now an 06...I am looking for any good ideas on where to mount the brake controller. On my 99 there was room for a CB on the left of the steering wheel and the controller on the right. These 3rd generation rigs are a bit more stingy on the room department! You would think they would give us a better spot to locate these accesories. Anyway I'm looking for any good ideas out there before I just screw it in where ever I can fit it....Thanks in advance! Oh yeh...the controller is a Prodigy.

I like to mount them up high, where they are in arm's reach in a hurry. I suggest the right side of the knee bolster, up rather high, like almost beside the steering column where it enters the dash.

I mounted my Jordan controller towards the right side almost all the way at the top of the panel below the steering wheel.

I put my prodigy down low..right side. so it's just above me knee when I'm on the gas.

yeah, it's nice to have it high for access...but if you have it setup properly you probably won't be touching it alot. and if your ever about to get in an accident where you want to hit the boost I highly doubt you'll reach over to the BC...you'll just slam on the brakes!

and with the prodigy, when that does happen, you'll be fine.

I like it all covert and sneaky down there.

My Prodigy is mounted right above the go-pedal, on the knee plate. It is out of the way, yet easy for me to reach.

As far to the right and as low as I could get it, I too like to be as discrete as possible, at least with my bc.

I'm going through the same thing with my '06 right now. I've pretty much decided to install it in the cubby hole below the heater controls. I just don't have enough room to mount it on the lower dash panel.

I have the Prodigy brake controller from Tekonsha. I had intended on mounting it down on the knee bolster where I had it on the Dakota, however, the owners manual says that you shouldn't mount anything in this area. I really don't want it in plain view and would prefer to have it within quick reach. Anybody see a problem putting it there on the knee bolster?

Here is my Jordan mounting - - the little red button is the controller.

ps: now, don't ask me why that image didn't show. The link seems to work, though. DUH
