Brake Controller

I picked up my new 2006 Dodge 3500 CTD last week and have to get a new brake controller. It will likely be a Prodigy. But I wondered if anyone with a new or late mode Dodge can advise me where to install the controller. There's not a lot of places to put this thing.

I put my Prodigy on the bottom of the dashboard's knee bolster, right next to the center console... has the right angle, easy to read & adjust, and never gets touched by my leg - even when shifting quickly.

I think you can see it in my pics...

Although I have a 2003, I mounted mine the same XL8R did and have had no problems..

Not sure which dash you have. Here's my 06' with Prodigy.

put it in that slot under the a/c controls a little extra work running the wires. plus the manual control is at arms reach & you dont have to look way down to see the reading.

Brake Controller Location

Me and the wife went round and round about where to put it. This was the spot it ended up in. Easy to get to if needed. And wireing was simple.

Here's where I put mine. I cut a hole to allow the prodigy to sit back further.

Your right there's not much room on the knee bolster with the '06 trucks. Mine is in the same place as "WCJP" and "CAMPNFISH"
