which brake contol 2

Thank you for all of your responses to my first post. The Jordan seems to be a heavy favorite for my application. Today I found a local dealer for Jordan who informed me that Jordan has more than one model. My next question would be is the Ultima the model that is recommended? This dealer said he has sold many Actuators but has never brought in an Ultima; however he did say that he could supply it in approximately six weeks

I was unaware Jordan offered anything other than the Ultima 2020. You might want to check out the Jordan website. Something sounds screwy. You can call Jordan, talk to Jordan himself, give him a credit card number and have an Ultima 2020 in your hands in a couple of days.

Edit: Fixed link to Jordan's website.

Get the Jordan Ultima 2020. You can order it HERE and have it on your door step in three business days....and if I recall correctly it's cheaper than buying from Jordan himself. I ordered mine from these people on a Tuesday and on Thursday of the same week it showed up in my mail box.

THIS is the Jordan website if you're interested in seeing it.

I would be cautious of any "Jordan dealer" who had never sold or installed the Ultima. I believe the Actuator is the old and outdated model...if it's even a Jordan model at all (I don't know). You don't want it. Also, if it takes the dealer six weeks to get one then he's not very resourceful. You could almost walk to Jordan's main office and back in six weeks.

To see what models of controllers that Jordan does offer I checked with Best brake controler. They informed me that a model mark4 is available which is a time based unit. Best no longer carries this model due to poor performance.
