Climate contol knob removal
Climate contol **** removal
Got the special bulbs from a Dodge dealer today p/n #1-05013815AA that install behind the ***** very little buggers. Got the cup holder out, the panel in front of that which goes around the 4x4 shifter, removed the panel that is vertical above it. Now I have run into the next vertical panel which is really tight, I removed two screws that were on the under side of it but this panel feels really solid. I don't want to pry or yank too hard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If nothing else I got to clean out alot of junk that fell into the shifter and under the cup holder. Thanks!
Just my two cents: a set of trim sticks from Harbor Freight come in handy for prying away panels without boogerin' 'em up.
New bulbs... I converted my HVAC control to LEDs last year... not quite as easily dimmed but they should outlast the vehicle; perhaps this summer I'll get around to doing the same to the instrument cluster and adding the gauges I've been keeping on the shelf.

Got it done, used a little pry bar, and a paint can opener to get the panel dislodged from the cllips, left no scares or scratches. All three bulbs were burned out, don't know if they all went at once or at different times. I am the second owner so I'll have to wait and see if they go out again. Couldn't see any visual problems. Got alot of excellent pictures and info from 07Mega on another site. Without his help I'd still have no climate control lights. Thanks for all the input from DTR. Every bit helps.
