Can you adjust the Jordan so the trailer will lead the truck?

Yep - if you adjust the control cable to bring the trailer brakes in first.

I'm using the Prodigy and feel it does a good job for my application. (My two cents.) I really like the holder it comes with. Makes it real easy to remove and stow. It also shuts itself off after a time when not in use, which is also a nice feature. You can see the options at the MFG site in the User Manual that is available for view.
