Reese brake controler
I have not, but I did see someone on an RV forum say that the one he has on his truck is junk.....for whatever that's worth.
Go with Jordan. You won't regret it.

Thanks
Thank you every one.
Ya the Jordan Is one of the best. It should be too at $165.00 plus shipping and tax. It does have to be mounted just so so to work properly too. I would rate it a 5 on the above scale for my use 3 Plus axels.
The prodigy, Doesn't even qualify for my applaction as it is only good for two axel applictions. It probably would be a really good one for towing an RV with just two axels with brakes.
I guess I'm going to go with what you said VIP since you have a draw tite (there the same?) and seem to like it.
Again thanks.

The Jordan was pretty easy to install once all was said and done. I needed some tips along the way, but it wasn't bad at all. It's also not that tricky to get it set up to work correctly.
Not sure where you saw it for 165, but I got my Jordan for $119 here - http://www.bestbrakecontroller.com/purchase.html

I checked out the Jordan home page. Figured if that was the factory price cound beat it any were else.
I still like the idea of being able to remove the controller when not in use too.
Thank you none the less. Might help some one else.

Al, why can't you use the Prodigy? I just looked at the box(instructions in trash) and it says it can handle up to four axles.
Mine works great, alas... I don't know the true pleasure of a Jordan... (sigh)

Sorry, got mine for 129.00 + 5.00 2nd day air. That included the plug and play wiring harness. When it's not in use I tuck the cable away and you can't tell I haul. The permanent pocket looks like it was made for a garage door opener...

Ok, I have run both the Prodigy, Loved it
& the Jordan, Love it more. Took longer to hook up only because of the setting the cable and brake pedal brace, but love it more
Both are great, about $130 for the Prodigy and $10 for the already made up wire connector.
The Jordan runs $129 from Jordan Research.
Your choise GOOD LUCK
