In my opinion, spend the extra money and get the B&W. They have a good reputation for making a quality product and I when it comes to pulling gooseneck trailers, I want a quality hitch for my own safety.

also the owner of b&w never laid his people of when BIz was slow ,he sent them out in the community and had them doing all kinds of services for FREE and he flipped the Bill (like painting poor old ladies houses ) and fixin city side walks etc. I watched a show on him and he said he was going to pay them any ways and production was slow so why not?
very cool in my book and its made in the USA

B&W are top of the line. We have them at work, I use a hitch made locally here by a hitch shop. It is very well made, and, it unscrews instead of flipping. Ive had several of those they are great.
B W does have a lot of options.
WE have one truck at work with another brand, You pull out a metal insert, slide ball sideways, off a peg, then flip it, slide it back on peg, then install metal peg. It works ok, but gets gummed up fast, one time it was rusted in there, so we greased it, then it attracted all sorts of dirt. I would not get another one, I think it was a Pop N Loc?

I guess the only thing I would change is with their 5th wheel hitch. When the lever is in the unlock position, the balance of the hitch head wants to make it tip forward, when I need it tipped back or flat to hitch.
I attached a spring on the back from the hitch head to the frame.
I really like the strength and ease of installation, that you can see the jaws clearly around the pin, and the overall quality construction and design. Having no rails when the 5th wheel hitch is out, and 4 way pivot were also must have options for me.

I had a B&W in my 02 Ram and out one in my 2010 Ford. The main reason I stuck with B&W is because I need the ball for my goose neck but I need a 5th wheel hitch for my toyhauler. The Rail Rider from Colibert fits into the socket when I need to tow the 5'ver. It is a slider (manual), whereas the B&W companion 5th hitch is not (or else I would have went with that too).
Another reason I stayed B&W had to do with a report I saw on them (MSNBC I think) where they interviewed the owner. When things got tough financially here, and people weren't buying as many hitches, he still kept his workers on the payroll and didn't lay them off. He sent them out in the town where they are located and had them do civic works projects.
