Anyone running Michelins?
Your guys that are considering BFG's vs Michelins, consider this. If you take a BFG and a Michelin of the same size, lets say 235 x 85 x 16, and put them side by side, you'll see the Michelin is much taller than the BFG unless something has changed in the last 9 months. Then roll them side by side. The Michelin is the correct size for the speedo. So the BFG will lower your gear ratio, which is good for towing, but likewise turn more RPM's than the Michelins that will effect you fuel mileage.

I have a set of the AT2's and have about 20k on them so far. They are wearing great and are the best tire I've had on wet pavement. I hope to get 60-70k+ out of them. The only complaint I have is that they were waaaay pricey. I also stayed with load range "E".

You might also consider the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour. This is a Kevlar tire, 50k warranty, quit, goes extremely well in all conditions. I have 30k on mine, maybe 1/2 or a little more worn. At least 1/2 pulling heavy 5th wheel.
You can get a better price if you go to a Goodyear factory store, tell them the competition.
All these tires are good choices.

I had Michilen LTX MS 265 75 16's on my 02 at the stock tire. They lasted till 80k miles. Since then I have had a set of goodyear ATD's and now a set of Cooper MS, both sets are 265's. I have 162K miles on the truck now and can tell you I will not be going back to the either goodyear or cooper brands. Both wear really fast compared to the michilen tires. My next set of tires will be Michilen LTx's in 285 75 16. My originals wore like iron, had great traction in snow, and did well off the pavement.
