6 Volt Gof Cart Battery Life

I have 2 6V Batteries that were bought backin 2000 or so. They seem to be gettting weak. What is the normal life of these batteries?
I understand Trojan 105's are the best replacement. Where can these be bought and what do they cost?
How about options from Walmart, NAPA, Autozone?
I suspect that I have gottn my money's worth out of these, there Sams/Interstate

They say about 5-6 years you will see a need to replace them, alot of places will trade there fleet after 4 years to avoid battery replacement. Trojan makes a good battery, as for cost I know there not cheap, but its been a while since I have been in the golf course business.

My T105's are now about 8 years old and we do a lot of dry camping, so they have been pushed. Been watching them closely. I just priced out Interstate. You might want to look at them - - they have a very good battery and probably the only other battery I would consider for this job. I will probably use them next time. Best price I could get on the T105 in town was about $120 each. I found the Interstate at $83 apiece. The Interstate amphour rating is higher than the T105, 225 ah versus 232 for the Interstate. The savings almost pays for one of the batteries. So, assumming the construction is anywhere near as good, it should be a good replacement at less money and more go juice. I just put them in a friends motorhome and he is quite happy.

The closest replacement to the T105 is the GC2HD-UTL at 220 ah.
The next one up, I think, is the GC2XHD-UTL at 232 ah. This one closely matches the T125. I bought at the Interstate store - - that is all they sell. Installed at $83.95 + tax with old batteries traded in. They both are like .2" taller, but otherwise same size. They both weigh more than the Trojan equivalent - - interesting. This is in Sarasota, Florida.

Ask you interstate dealer if they ever get blems? Usually less than half the price. For example a group 27 deep cycle is $110-115 but a blem is $35-40.

FWIW, the U2200 is replacing the model Fiver Bob
mentioned. Prices have gone up dramaticly.
The U2200 is 141.95, list 166.95.
Blame China & EPA according to my dealer.
I will check Walmrt.

FWIW, in Del Rio, Walmart had none. NAPA $110, AutoZone $105. I went with Autozone, since I was not sure where NAPA was. 90 day warranty, no specs, seemed heavy as Interstate. I thik Sama may be best option for cost, last I saw they were $70,but I suspect they have gone up.
