brake controller install

any tips for install on an 06 2500? i was told dodge stopped making a quick connect in 06 and i have to hard wire.

does your truck have the 7 pin plug on the bumper and one of these?

If yes just get a connector that fits your controller and truck,
save yourself some splice time..

Just for clarification, that connector is up under the dash to the left of the brake pedal.

Check your lower center console or dig through your glovebox, if you have the tow package (I'm sure you do) your truck came with a harness for the brake control receptacle. Mine was in the lower center console.

That is correct, you can see the parking brake assembly in the picture.

i found the connector, no factory pigtail, bought a new one.

however, the blue wire, black wire and a purple wire coming from the 7 pole rv connection in the bumper are not spliced to anything up front. do we have to run wires and if so where to?

also, is the purple the charging wire?
