5th wheel hitch
Are you talking about a 5th wheel king pin or just the 5th wheel where the ball mounts in the truck.
On the height issue, just make sure you carry a large adjustable wrench, most trailers have two bolts that allow you to adjust the coupler height.

I don't think that compressor would be big enough to air up tires.
Hey fade 94 My uncle just ordered a compressor off the net that soppesed fills tires really well and is not too much bigger than the firestone compressor. I will keep you updated when he gets it here.

Yes I am, however I sold my house last year and have not had time to fly. I am in my second rental right now. Large medical event last summer. A small obsession with campers
O ya, three little ones at home.
I seem to follow you around the forums

Yeah, I don't have the time, nor money, to fly anymore myself. I have a little electric heli I mess with at home on occasion, but the big birds are no more. I haven't flown a gas or glow powered plane for a couple years now...basically since my son was born. I built a little park flyer electric about a year ago and it still hasn't flown! Oh well. In a couple weeks I'm going to a float fly with JuzPlaneKrazy.....should be fun. Going to do a little camping and a little flying!
Electric RC only now, would love to get into electric Heli's.
JuzPlaneKrazy, I saw a picture on RV.net of your Truck and Rig. WOW. And you put dirty toys in the back
I have a KZ Frontier 2809 but thinking of upping to a 5er.

No dirty toys.....Clean Model Airplanes and a big ice chest
Shaef 12, If your truck is lifted very much you'll have a problem with the trailer hitting the bed rails. The only way is to have the axles moved to the underside of the springs or what they call "flipped axles". This is done mostly on toyhaulers to give more ground clearnace while heading out into the desert. Other trailers do it to, but more on toyhaulers.
If you don't have a 5'er, I wouldn't put the hitch in, I'd wait and see if you ever get a trailer and then check to see whats needed. No sence in drilling holes in your bed if not needed.
