2005 1500 wire question.

Yea I know its not a diesel. It came with a factory 4 wire plug. I want to add an 7 wire plug. I need to know where I can find a source for the backup lights. I would prefer since it is a new truck to not cut or splice any of the wires. Thanks.

I also have an 05 1500 and from what I have looked at under the truck, there is no way to do it other than tap into the backup light wire. It really isn't that big of a problem. I did it on my longbed GMC 3500 crew for more light in the rear. I will do some looking under mine tomorrow, I was wanting more light anyway, and I will let you know which wire it is. Hope this is of some help.

Mike
