Dyno directions
heres a google map, Sam Ridley is exit 66a/b from Nashville. You'll take 66b cause it'll loop around and put you going towards Smyrna. It is exit 66 coming from the 'Boro, turn to the right. Pass the golf courses, airport and you'll turn on Weakley Ln, to the left. There is a stop light there and a gas station on the opposite left corner, think it's a bp(maybe). Looks like Huntley Industrial Blvd is the 5th street on the right, according to the map. The Performance Garage is on the left, it is a dead end street.

Map....

General map from Nashville to the dyno

Yeah, moved my box out of the garage to the shop in franklin. The move is on. Training the replacement then I'm back in the shop, 7-4 yeehaw!!!!!

Thought I'd have some garage space, then got done with one of my stair jobs and brought home left over steel that I don't want to get rained on. Now my garage is full of 20' sections of steel!!

Gonna be sellin my headache rack/cab rack though. Won't have an need for that when I get the flatbed put on. Hate to see that one go, took a lot of time to put that together and it's unique. Guess I'll have to customize my cab rack on the flatbed just so it's mine and not a production line look alike. Checked out the wheels I want and they are not American Racing they are American Eagles, kids like em', wife said why you need the fancy wheels. I told her I've been riding around on plain steel wheels all my life and my truck ain't going anywhere and I want something nicer, so here they are

Nice looking wheels. My wife's truck is runnings some that look almost identical... only on the back at the moment, haven't had the time to tire swap and get them on the front yet...

Now the the part you guys are gonna hate me for. I don't think I am gonna be able to make it on Saturday. Times have been a little tough lately and I have an opportunity to work 10 hrs overtime a 1.6x pay. It's either that or pay $4,683/gal to drive to the dyno day where i'd probably decide I could afford to dyno the truck, lol. Hate to do it, but I think I gotta get the money this time. It sure would have been nice to throw down some numbers that would make you overvalvers blush with embarrassment! Oh well... there's always next year!

Hey shawn those are some sharp wheels. They'll look good with the red truck. I'll help with the new flatbed if I'm around jus let me know when. Hope you can find some for the bed.(skid steer or tractor) Those skirted beds ain't light. LOL

Don't know if I over-looked this or not, but what time are we meeting up on Saturday? Is it 10am, or are we doing later?

Well, I won't be winning anything this year except the bad luck award. 1stgen and I both have had bad luck in getting mine running again. Between His family thats been sickly, and me.........well, I've been on the boat for last 30days and I'm down to my Jeep XJ for a daily driver which is about to spit a driveshaft CV joint that nobody seems to be able to rebuild around here. There has simply been no time. So I'm stuck at home. If I get the driveshaft repaired in time, I'll be there in the heep. Don't know about the others though.

I'm trying to be there saturday. Got my bed on last night and stripped back the light wires to plug them into the original sockets to get home. Friend has a tow motor. Took us about 20 minutes to get my bed off and the flat on. Then stayed and made plates to weld to the bed and bolt to the truck frame. Got home around 9:30, no dinner.

Tonight got home around 4:30, wired up all lights(soldered connections) got one mud flap on, dull drill bits. Now working on getting fuel filler neck in place. If I can't get that done I won't be bringing my truck....can't fill with fuel. Kinda don't want to bring it anyhow, the girl is pretty darn ugly with flatbed and singles....... Put on mud flap hoping I could hide it....nope. Got done around 9:30 again.....ate dinner. Tomorrow night fab up some crafty thing to hold filler neck in place, fix door over fuel cap. Really have to go to scrap yard saturday am.....need 6 new tires at around 800 coins. Don't know what was worse, the big dent in the side of the old bed or the ugly single wheels under this flatbed....this is back side of dog ugly....I don't think my truck even wants to go out in public!!

I bought a gooseneck brand, skirted with the front tool boxes in the sides. Got my fuel tube mounted last night, like where I put it and proud of my little door. Also began to modify the bed. It is pretty ugly in the back, big square hard lines, so I'm adding diamond plate to make it look better. I bought the bed, now it's time to make it mine. I wanted to make my own and priced out the steel from my steel guy but when it comes to time....that I don't have a lot of.

Couldn't get my driveshaft rebuilt in time, so I'm out also. Had to take the rear shaft out and leave it at the shop to boot. Sure is fun driving around in front 2wd with a locker let me tell yah!!!!
