Thanks TNLoneWolf, I'm tryin on the pull truck. Still waitin on my tranny and parts to convert to a manual. If I can't get the parts from a friend of mine soon I'm jus gonna have to piece a kit together I reckon. Was really jus wantin to get everything off that one truck at one time though.

Skinny, I know for a fact that there are several guys down there in Memphis, not first gens but other members from this site. The guys I knew where hangin' out over in Mississippi DTR #31 with Streetsmoker and company. We'd like to have you out at our meets but I understand the travel time as well so if your looking for people a bit closer check out those guys over there. Their a real good bunch. Hope it don't sound like I'm trying to run you off Like I said though your welcome at any and all meets.

Mark, so that'll be good on the twins. Then you can just throw everything together. I've been talking with Robert quite a bit lately and sounds like he's just about bought every accessory out there in the last week or two!!! Wheels, air dog and was'nt there something else. I have a bad memory......or just to much stuff and ideas floating around and other stuff gets pushed out of the way. Anyhow, we had talked about a wrenching day, since Robert has so much to do!! but I'm not to sure where to do this as I have no large shop and the shop I know of that I could use is waaaaaayyyyyyyyy out in the boonies, oh....that's near my boonie house.

Any ideas and we could do a wrenchin' day meet in January.....or if people want to drive to boonieville we could probably do it here ish'. Should'nt this post be over in our chat forum

I'm down for a wrenchin day.

Dodgeguy, another vendor might be All Bout Diesels. There over between unionville and eagleville, some pretty nice people that usually have good prices too.

Thought it might be somethin to think bout if you vouldn't get them boys out of nashville.

I am definetely in and look forward to meeting some of you guys!! I have been wanting to dyno my truck so this is the perfect opportunity! Been thinking about stacking a Smarty with my TST, so I guess I have got some time to get some money saved and buy me one before March 15th! Also have a buddy at work with a second gen with some mods, I will get him to come as well! Let me know if you need help with bringing anything, or help with setting up!

Not sure if you need a head count, but I'm in for the dyno.

Hey Mglass ain't seen you around in awhile, hows the car biz? I'll look at doing a head count around February sometime. Have to call back vendor at the end of the month, he's on the fence due to some things I will not mention.

Dave, up there in Spring Hill, your my closest neighbor as far as the club goes. Only about 40 minutes from you southwest of Columbia down in Mt. Pleasant area.

Well, other than that still in just waitin' on the dyno day.

UPDATE

The dyno day, I have talked with Chris at The Performance Garage and we are a go for March 15th. He is gonna check cause of school break and vacation, same thing going on with me. But it's looking good. The price on the dyno is the same as last year, $75 per truck and he'll let you do some programs but if you start getting carried away and such it will cost a bit more. I'll leave that up to Chris to make that decision since he can judge his dyno time better than I. This is basically the same thing that went on last year, if you spend a bunch of time on the dyno tuning, tweaking obviously it'll cost more.

VENDOR: I have secured a vendor that is eager to come out to our little meet. I was shocked at how eager they were and I believe they were shocked I was not charging vendor fees...I'm just glad their eager to come out!!

I hope I can say this Admin, if not forgive me. Our vendor will be All About Diesels out of Chapel Hill, TN. If you've been out at the tractor pull over there you may have seen their booth. I talked with both owners and they had a real interest with was good to hear.

As far as food goes I have been thinking about something like one of those hot dog stand vendors or something? I thought about prepping the food ourselves but I'm hoping this will be bigger than that. So I thought it would be better to have someone else there to take care of the food portion. I have also thought about catered food, but would need to collect money up front for the expense of that as I cannot afford to go that alone, especially since my credit card number was hijacked and the dirt bag spent over 1K on an account that did not have near 1K in it. If we do the hot dog vendor guy then you'd just pay the people directly for what you ate. Catered, we'd need a place to set up I guess, tables and so on I believe. Your thoughts please.

Other vendor.....me, I'll be giving away the first prize which is a Diversi-Tech 6" drop adjustable aluminum ball mount with locks. It's the first one pictured in this link....

Plus I'm working on our first place HP trophy.....homemade of course. So if you would PM me and let me know that you are coming for sure so I can start counting. I have to make up a flyer to send to the vendor to drum up more folks. Robert has jumped on and is doing what he can to drum up more folks. I get a few flyers made and I'll have to hang them in the parts houses.....if they let me.

I'm here! Either one of the food ideas is fine with me if you want to do the catering thing then we could jus give you the money next weekend at the meet then. What ever works for everyone else. The drop hitch looks pretty cool.

Shawn wat are you making this trophy out of?

I've told a few people about the dyno day around here. Hopefully they will be able to make it that day.
