Split 3rd Gen?

Just wondering if you guys ever thought about splitting the 3rd gen forums into a 3rd gen section and a separate 6.7 section. Especially the high power section, currently I have to dig through it to find stuff on the 6.7 and it's not very efficient.

Not a bad suggestion... we have a 6.7 specific engine and drive train forum... We'll look into it...

Interesting. We have talked about this a little bit since your post, and I think it's a good idea. Might take me a little while because once I do it, then I have to go through the 6.7L threads and move them.

I like that idea.

Course I dont mind digging through the Hi Per section like it is, course it does kinda make me sad seeing all the 5.9's all built up for a lot less trouble and money... sniff sniff

Have been thinkin bout looking for an 06-07 5.9 mega with a 6speed. My wife is gonna flip if I do.

6.7 high performance is just starting to come into it's own.

I don't think there is any need to switch existing posts into a new section...the most informative and successful products are yet to come.

I would compare the 5.9 Cummins to the 350 Small Block Chevy and 5.0 Ford in terms of aftermarket support and popularity.

No motor ever put in a light duty pickup will ever have the following of a 5.9 Cummins.

I talked to Jack this morning, and he said it's a go.

Thanks to John for suggesting it.

Jack, I'll be more than happy to help you to dig through those posts.

Ok, I split it. We'll see how it goes. I just need moderators to help me move 5.9 threads over to the 5.9 forum.

OK, I did 36 pages and I'm going cross-eyed. Somebody else's turn for a while.
