Silly Question

Up until today, when I viewed posts/threads, the date and time were on each post.

Also, in the menu, or whatever it is called, the last post was denoted by date and time.

Today, without me changing a thing, instead of date and time, I get days ago and hours ago.

Is this something I can change to get back to the way it was??

I don't know if it could have had any bearing on this, but, last night, with the computer in use, the power went off for about two hours, the whole neighborhood.

Thanks.

In other news, today's massive power disruption which has caused 100 billion dollars worth of economic damage has been traced to one Jack Thorpe...

I was kind of wondering what was going on also.

Is there a difference in how the post that you have already replied to are marked?

All this confusion and I remember when......this site only had 20k members............LOL!!

I also note a time lapse between posting and noting as a new post. Similar to the 45 second delay on TV or Radio??

Or do you have to proof read every post??

There seems to be a lag time between posting and seeing your post listed as a new post. I was just courious.

You can't see your own post in new posts because when you post, it goes directly to it and then the system marks it as read. So anything you post can never be new to you. Does this make sense? For some reason, I'm having a hard time explaining this.

I understand now .....I think

I was looking for replies to the post that I had just written and I could not see what I had replied to.

I assume that they will be marked when someone replies to them.

You are dealing with diesel freaks. Not techno geeks!

I noticed that the link to the users photo gallery is no longer in the upper right of each post with this new upgrade. Is there an easier way to get to it other than the Users Public Profile or a link on the screen that I haven't found yet? Not a big deal - just looking for the shortcuts.

Those are gone for now until I can figure out how to make them work again. By going to the user's profile, you can actually see the last 4 pictures they uploaded. If they don't have pics in their gallery, then none will show up in their profile.

Not sure if this has been asked before but I noticed that quite a few of the photos in the "Pictures of rigs and trailers" are not showing up, probably related to your working on the photo galleries? Good luck
