Private message address option...

Is there any way to have an address book in our private message page? A place that we can have the user names of people that we pm often and add their personal info to? I have a MS Word document on my desktop that does this now, but I use 3-4 different computers, and if I update one doc, it is a pain in the LCpl to update the rest.

Thanks, DTR!!! You are a great site, and I love being here!!!

(is there an AA for the DTR?)

That would be a great idea. Would it work if the names were in the "buddy list" and just PM the list?

I like it. It would help if I was more active. But a couple of the folks on here are implanted into my cellular device. I think it is a good idea,, however. NOt sure if Vbulletin has any sort of feature available.

There's currently no option in vB to do this, and I don't recall seeing a mod that allows something along the lines of an address book to be created.

Now, having said that, dssimecek comes close to hitting the best way of doing this. If you look under "Quick Links", you'll find an option to open your buddy list. You can initiate a PM directly from the list.

Regardless of whether there was an address book or not, you are still going to have a 5 member limit on sending PMs.

You know that you can start typing their name in the "To" box, and it will give you a list of names that are close to that. It usually takes me a minute to remember how to spell that indian stuff that you have...
