Use a graphics program like photoshop to reduce the filesize of the photo.

I actually have 3 different versions of photoshop and never use it. I like the MGI photosuite software that came with my camera.... ;D Plus, I don't really do anything extensive graphics wise... ;D

Tony

Microsoft's "Photo Editor" comes with Microsoft Office.
This utility has a "resize" option that will allow you to manipulate image size.
It is not as good as PhotoShop or others but is waaay cheaper!

Rich

An excellent alternative to the full Photoshop version is Photoshop Elements 2.0. I use it extensively and it has much of the functionality of Photoshop without the cost. You can buy it online from Adobe or look for it a stores like Best Buy. Depending on when you buy you should be able to purchase Photoshop Elements 2.0 for between $69 & $99.

There are many free-ware programs available if you know where to find them. I've used a few, and the best one I've found is "IRFanView". It is slick, easy, and best of all, it's free. You can download it from http://www.irfanview.com/

I'm with Drafter on the Photoshop Elements program. Great program, easy to use, it may be economical in cost but not cheap in utility.

~Dave
