An observation about pic gallery.

I posted up a bunch of 'Oh my goodness they did what to the truck?' pictures showing stuff that folks have done to their trucks.

The images are hidden until approved, but the thumbnails of them all show up on the main forum page under 'Featured Photos'. They are nearly pushed off already as I posted them early in the morning. Not an important detail but something that could be abused.

Hopefully my new pictures will give some laughs to the members. Once they are approved...

Thanks! I'm new and enjoying the place very much! I hope I contribute constructively.

Yep... We know about it, that's just the way the software is. Same thing with new members, it will say "newest member is ______" but they are not approved. I almost snorted a cheerio one day when someone had made an obscene user name, it was showing on the main page, but not approved yet.

I got those pictures for you. For future reference, if you click on the forums page, down at the bottom center, you will see a link that says 'view forum leaders.' Click on that, see which admin is online, and PM them... ask them to approve photos.

Funny pics, too. It's a shame to see what some people put these trucks through.

Cool. Thanks for the tip about who's at the wheel for that stuff.

I didn't include the multiple pictures of sediment and other crap that we photograph at the bottom of gas tanks. You just need proof at times.

Yeah, I got a kick out of those too. One of them reminded me of a time back when I was a Dodge service tech: A customer brought in a newer truck for a "warranty" concern. The complaint was, "when I drive on the highway, there's a rattle that sounds like tin cans rolling around." So, the first thing I did was look in the box of the truck and there's actually a couple of loose beer cans rolling around in there. I wish all warranty repairs were that easy.
