Music downloading = advocating breaking laws.

Biker Video = language for one, generally innapropriate for a family site such as this.

Didn't sound that way to me, but it's too late now. I ask that you respect our decision. Thank you.

Maybe where you live, but not where I live. The legality of the downloading of music in Canada was recently upheld by the Supreme Court of Canada.

But while we're on the subject of the advocacy of breaking laws, so does taping TV shows, running stacks, removing mufflers, turning up injector pumps, and on and on et nauseum. Gonna pull all those threads too Phox? Jack?

I appreciate the time and effort that goes into maintaining this site as a great place, but one must be careful how one applies/ passes judgement on what is lawful.

But once we eliminate ALL of the law breaking activities from the site, there won't be anything much left to discuss, will there?

I have no problem with the language rules, as long as they are applied consistently. My late Grandmother always used to say that people who couldn't make their point without swearing were possessed of a lazy intellect. I kinda like the sound of that.

So keep up the all in all fine job folks, but remember that with great power comes great responsability. Rick

On a mission now Rick?

I guess you didn't appreciate having your post pulled where you made a personal attack on someone.

Well Top, I'd be glad to send you a copy PM, and let you decide. Ask Shovel to send you a copy.. I really didn't think it was a personal attack, and it did not violate ANY of the terms of posting.

So yeah, I guess some could say that I am "on a mission". I like to think of it as a hypocrite hunt.

The best thing was quite honestly that the thread was locked and pulled. The bad part is I am convicted of a forum crime I did not commit.

I saw it Rick, and I agree with what you were saying however your mistake was in HOW you said it.

I see a hypocrite but it wasn't Ed, and I stand by his efforts 100 %. As to your mission, you need to get over it, you are making a bigger deal out of it than it ever was.

I must have edited 20 posts myself today, and everyone of those guys said "Opps my bad" and moved on, they felt no need to go on a witch hunt and make a general fool of themselves over nothing. Sometimes you just have to admit you made a mistake and then move on, been there and done that many times myself.
