Thumbs down Forum Problems....

Ok guys heres the problem. I use Mozilla Firefox as my default browser...but ever since yesterday when I visit DTR not one icon or picture shows up, no avatars, thread picture...not even the gallery pictures work. It works just fine with Internet Explorer, but it craps out in Firefox...btw I'm writing this in Internet explorer as the "new thread" icon is not showing up either. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm running firefox right now and I'm not having that issue and yours is the first complaint I've seen on this. You might want to check your security settings on your browser and see if lowering them a notch helps the issue.

I have never heard of Mozilla Firefox. What are the advantages of it?

I agree. I have had really good luck with it. Never got a virus or spyware object from it yet.

I down loaded the new version the other day. It works OK, but on my poor, tired dial-up, it is much slower the IE.

Interesting. I've always found that firefox is faster, especially with some tuning settings that i've put on.

I'm with Jack, after going in and setting all the suggested speed tuneups that you can in the config settings of firefox it really screams donwn the info, some of the dload test sites rate me as having some pretty heavy bandwidth, firefox also has a huge list of themes and extensions to tailor the browser to do what yuou want.
