Connection problem
Connection problem
I seem to keep running into a problem trying to connect. Since I have switched IP's or because of my new computer I usually get a "failure to connect" message. I have tried most ideas, and it doesn't seem to happen at given times or for any because of cookies etc... that I can tell. I was wondering if it was something on the website side of things.
Yeah I am "on" at the moment to post this
I have tried on one of the other computers at the house and get the same problem. I guess it is something on my end then. I can get on every once in a while but then all of the sudden it is gone. When I made this thread it was the first time I could get back on since yesterday after trying all day today.
I had not been on in a while so that is why I was checking to see if it was a site thing. I will continue to look on my end.

I assume all the pc's in your house share the same connection to the internet?
If so, you may want to try on a computer that does not share your internet connection (ie, try from a work, friends, nieghbors, etc. pc).
Point is, it may be your internet provider having issues resolving DTR's IP, it may be a router or LAN line issue.
This could be tested by trying to access DTR from a pc outside of your home connection. (And preferably using a different internet provider if possible).

Yeha that is my next plan. We switched to Hughesnet a month or so ago so that may be the issue. If it happens again I will try it using my old dial-up connection since it seems to be on my end.
Thanks for the info.
