I learned everything i need to know about diesels ON THIS SITE. I was about 14 then, im 17 now. The classifieds ON THIS SITE are where i found my truck in March of this year. Since then with help from a few members ON THIS SITE have helped me install a 10 plate, exhaust and set the timing. I've also changed a transmission with my dad on his 98 doing most of the work as he broke his knee and could not do alot of moving around with tips and tricks I picked up ON THIS SITE.

Any other attacks? IF you look back, the admin will also ban if you attack other members here.

Alot goes into this site, partially an effort from the members to just sit back and shut up and let them do their jobs. Yes i've had friends banned from this site, and i know both sides of the story, but i took it, shut up and moved on.

 

With over a thousand posts, I would think you've learned how to use the classifieds by now. That is the kind of thing it's for. This must really be rocket science.

...and I should add to this that it's been explained over and over. You still don't get it, or just refuse to because it's not the way YOU want to do things. At some point, get over it. We're not going to argue this point much longer.

 

So now you're going to insult a member, "DUDE"? You're right, there are plenty of sites that are free. If that's the case, what are you still doing here? That "dude" has done more for this site and contributed more than you ever have, or ever could. He's worked for the things he has, and they have not been handed to him. I would say that's pretty good for someone who hasn't even turned 18 yet. Just about every single article on the Wiki has been put up by him. He's respectful and does whatever he can to help out. Don't try to get into a fight about ***** envy here, because you'll lose...

...before trying to insult someone, you should at least educate yourself on exactly who it is that brings you information because a great many of those articles were put together by that "dude".

If you just think the site sucks and you don't agree with the way things are run, and you don't like the members here, there is not much I can do for you.

 

I'm floored that the owner of a " so call " business can be as harsh and rude as you Mr founder / admin. Every post I've seen from you is condescending and with total disregard for the posters. Sure, it's your site and you can do with it what you please but, that's NO reason to talk to the people the way you do. Some deserve it but, most don't.

You see this all the time. A company starts up and the powers that be are willing to bend over backward to make people happy. As soon as the company grows, all the sudden, the powers that be are holier than thou and don't have time for the commoners.

You seem to have forgotten that EVERY person or poster could be a potential great addition to your site or the next paying advertiser. With you treating people the way you do.... you're going to loose more than you'll gain. The world is screwed up enough as it is.... people come here to get away from some of that just to fine the problems are the same.

 

I don't see him as being condescending when he plainly told the guy what happened to his friend and the guy keeps on and on basically beating a dead horse. I doubt this site would have over 52thousand members if these guys were as bad as a couple of you say they are. I personally like not dealing with an ad in every other post.
Deal with the rules you agreed to or go somewhere else it is that simple.

We've heard it all before, but the growth continues...and so does business. That's because we take care of our customers and we treat them right. The ones who follow the rules are just fine. It's the ones who can't seem to understand after being told so many times who get an attitude. I don't beat around the bush and I don't play games with being politically correct. I did that the first couple years after I started the site, and got stepped on. That's not going to happen again and I'll be the first to get rid of someone if I think that's going to happen to me, my mods, a member in good standing or a customer / vendor. Been that way for years... and it's not going to change.

If you want to make another point, feel free. After that, I think we've beaten a dead horse and the thread will be closed. I'll give you the last word.

 

I understand where you're coming from but, it's still no reason to be rude. Your post to me yesterday was a prime example. For all you know, I would have pay your site to be a vendor but, with the attitude you had... I don't care to give someone that's like that my money. I'm sure you couldn't care less but.... that's a big part of my point. Yes, it's your site but, isn't it the members that make a site ? They should be treated with a little more respect IMO. Not looking for the last word.... just speaking my mind like you.
