Do the sponsoring vendors have to pay to advertise? What is the fee?

Of course they do. The fee depends on the length of contract, location of ad, and how many.

This is what pays the bills, because the site is free. Take a look at just our bandwidth bill, and you might just understand why we are protecting our advertisers they way we do.

You seem like a pretty bright guy, try putting the shoe on the other foot for a moment.....

Imagine you just sent in a check to pay for your advertising here as a vendor, as a legitimate businessman you know your advertising budget is deductible and part of doing business. Before the check even clears you see another vendor on here advertising the same products you do in the forums and he isn't even a sponsor.

That's right he just took the same thing you paid for and apparently nobody cares that the reason they are on this forum for free is because YOU helped pay for it

Would you be upset with me if I allowed that to happen? Or should I just take your money and laugh while every other vendor gets to advertise here for free? Would that be fair?

Don't you think that the guy paying for your time here deserves a little respect?

This stuff isn't rocket science

It's simple economics: They do the pay'n - they do the say'n! You really can't find anything to complain about when it's FREE!!

Nothing rediculous about it Our forums are intended for information to help members with their trucks. In order to make the information more easy to access we do not allow this forum to become a flea market atmosphere.

This makes it easier for everyone to find the info they come here for and in turn we provide you with our free classifieds to post stuff to give away or sell. It is a win win situation for everyone because the classifieds get more hits than the forums for that kind of stuff anyway.

You keep coming up with complaints but you have yet to supply a logical point as to why any of your complaints should be considered valid. It is obvious you are just disgruntled because your friend lied to you about why he was banned and left you here holding the bag.

I suggest you try and get over it..... we do the things we do on this forum to protect our sponsors and our members from being spammed constantly by unscrupulous vendors that only want to make a sale.

Unlike other forums, you do not have to dig through 6 ads to find an answer in a thread. This forum is about information it is not a free for all vendor forum and never will be. We do these things with even you in mind, even if you are incapable of seeing the forest for the trees

And let's not forget. This site grew in the early days because of banned members from another supposedly **** run diesel website.

These guys do a fine job keeping things running smooth here, and it's free.
