Which Jeep rubber bushings are you using (P/N ?? or application)? I'm in the same boat with needing to replace the stock bushings and not wanting polly bushings.

The bushings I’m using or out of a 1998 Jeep Wrangler you have to enlarge the hole in the frame and all the bushings are the same height so you have to use a spacer to make up the difference because the factory bushes were taller on one end or the other and then you’ll need new bolts Haven’t gotten to the grill yet to see what kind of spacer I will be there and the bed will probably have to have a spacers to match back up perfectly straight I had to add a little body lift To clear the six speed so I don’t know exactly what it would take to put on a non-modified truck

Still a great start to getting rid of those poly cab mount bushings. I know there are a number of members here, me included, who would really like to ditch those poly cab mounts.

Truck is looking great....love the tu-tone blue!
thanks I’m going to try and mount the cab this weekend I will know more on the body mounts
Just did some searching on line for these mounts....could not find them new, and the only new ones I could come up with were the poly equivalent.
My friend has a Jeep shop and I build Rock crawlers my other addition I’ll ask him about new bushings I put used ones in my truck I’m getting close to body install and will let you know how they work
well didn’t get the cab back on but made a mount for the transfer case shifter and the frame Modified so Stafter will clear steering box bracket replaced it was cracked I need to run fuel lines from the engine to the tank Will 3/8” be sufficient
Thanks for the response on the bushings. I've been thinkng about buying some sheet rubber and using a hole saw or making punches to make my own bushings.

To use the Jeep 1997 to 2006 body mounts you have to in large the frame hole I used a hole saw and a 1/2” spacer on the rear body mounts on the grill I don’t know on a stock truck mine has a body lift I used the big holes in the frame with the Jeep bushings I had to go with a body lift to clear the transmission I think crown jeep parts have the rubber bushings none of my measurements are exact
well got more done on my truck dash harness changed under hood harness in did away with the fusible links. Heater box cleaned all foam replaced. Started sound deading the cab
It’s gone Full of leaves New foam insulation Firewall seal Ready to go back in
Sound deadening was going good until I ran out one box supposed to do a complete car not going to happen. Hope to crank it by Christmas that will be my Present to myself
