been a little while since I’ve been able to touch the truck but I have got a little bit more done on it I’m about done with my bumper I added some toe hooks and reset fog lights Still looks like an old bumper but a little bit of modern mixed with it

I really like that bumper. Do you plan to include some kind of grill guard too?

I thought about making one of flat bar sort of copy a military Chevy cucv But I don’t know yet I don’t want to hide the grill that’s one of the things I really like about them trucks

I took one of those guards and put it on my '77 W200. It doesn't line up with everything real well but it serves the purpose for a farm truck.

If you made one from scratch and followed the grill contours it might compliment the front real well. I've thought about putting one on mine and making it hinge down forward. Mainly for accessibility but it could also function as a steps for easier access to the engine bay

yeah I’ve got a couple of old CUCV trucks and was looking at the grill guards if I do it I will make it from scratch so it will match like it should just don’t know if I’m gonna do it or not I also have the side steps and they roll bar from the 70s power wagon that’s going in the trunk and like everything else I’ll end up cutting them up and making them the way I want them
