Yet another 2 low question...

Ok so I want to use "Mike's" setup http://www.vtlink.net/users/joespond...miker2x4lo.htm to make my own two low kit. With my grabby clutch it would be nice to have two low for moving heavy trailers around. Question is where do I find the "Nippondenso EGR vacuum switch for a Honda Civic" It seems most searches for auto parts require the year model engine etc before I can find this thing.... He says all I need is a vacuum switch that is a normally open type. I understand what that is but dont know how to go about ordering one... Any help or insight would be appreciated!! Who knew this simple mod would be so difficult!!

Unless someone has a specific part number, it'll just be trial and error. Start with like a mid 90s they had a ton of little vacuum controls. Just go into NAPA or somewhere like that and start asking questions.

There was a thread in here somewhere that had a number to a vacuum solenoid from like graingers or a place like that. Try searching using 2low, two low, 2wd low. You may have to play around with the words, but it's in here.

Ah ha! There it is. Thanks Tiger.

I have a shift **** from a big rig and I was going to use the controls to work the front axle. It was going to work until I broke the shifter in two pieces. Don't drive when your ****** off, you tend to break stuff

I agree with this statement, but the Posi lock is a little more than that...
