Would a "Torque Tube" help on 24V

I seen were torque tubes helps on the 3rd gen, would it help on the 2nd gen?

This could be fabricated homemade for trials. has anyone tried it

i have one on mine, only thing noticeably different was a louder turbo whistle in the cab, and it looks better than stock tube. i think it was worth it.

I dont think you would gain anything from it, unless you just like the way it looks i would just stick with the stock tube. I think the main reason why they help out the third gens is because it doesnt have all that stuff inside of it. The stock tubes on the 3rd gens have a bunch of plastic crap in em. I guess to lower turbo noise
