Sorry for what may be a dumb question. I'm planning on making my own torque tube this weekend. Will be using 5.25" pipe as a replacement piece for the baffled stock piece. How long of a piece of pipe will I need?

From the pics I've seen, looks like <12" length?? Just don't wanna get stuck in the middle of this mod only because I didn't get a long enough piece of pipe.

I'll answer my own question for others who may ditch the OEM tube for a more free-flowing one.

I had a couple of hours of free time come up today so I pulled the rig in the garage. A 7-inch tube is required. One of the local muffler shops sold me a piece for $5.
