Will I be happier with 35"s

I have 4:10's with 265/75-16's and turn about 2200-2300 rpm's at 70 mph, seems awful high for a diesel, will she be happier with 35"s, will I loose a bunch of power? Thanks fellas!

you will drop your rpm's and if you want more power we can help you spend as much money as you will let us (and then some)

I would run nothing smaller then 35s, I wouldn't even hesitate to run 37s with 4.10s

I run 35s with 3.55s and like it for everything but real heavy towing.

With 4.10s depending on what transmission you have will run between 1900-2100 RPM.

I run 2000 RPM at 80 MPH and find it perfect for Montana.

So what would ya guess the 35's would drop my rpm down to at 70 mph from 2200-2300, maybe 1800?

I have 4.10's, a 4.5" lift and 35's. It is a great combo. I can cruise at about 60 and turn around 1700-1800 rpm's. 70 is about 1950-2000. 80 mph was top speed with 265's and now it is around 95 with the 315's.

Here is an excellent

Calculator

4th or OD is .69 in the auto. .73 in the 6 speed and .75 in the 5 speed.

So, 70 MPH in OD puts you right at 1900 RPM
