It's best feature (IMO) is that it gets it OFF of the vibrating block and puts it back somewhere where you can get to it very easily.
I can't drop mine below 12.5 psi under any conditions with a carter Pump, but I'm stock.
It's the LP that you are relocating, not ip.

It will not fix a weak lift pump but I have only heard good things about this kit.
