Who has killed a hx40 and how did it die ?
1psi is boost, isnt it. That's not what I would consider overspeeding.
Very good point...
Well how do you explain the one's that are not modified and light like,
right now. The truck you referred to earlier (guessed right, still don't know how you came up with that) must be a exception to the rule because that is the way it lights.
wheel speed and boost correlate but other factors play into it...such as air density...and PR covers that.
Cheyenne, Wyoming is ~ 6000ft ASL...
Pomeroy, Ohio is ~570 feet ASL...
+40psi at 6000 feet is going to have lots of wheel speed.
62psi at 570 feet is going to have lots of wheel speed.
***of course, this is assuming these boost readings where taken in the area i associated the thread with***
i couldnt tell you which is more severe...just something to remember to think about...

Its just like anything else there is always the next big thing, the next fancy new gizmo. Do the older parts still make power, sure, do the newer ones work better, sometimes yes, sometimes no. If old parts didn't make power there would be no carburated cars left, certainly no carbs in NASCAR or NHRA.
I run a HX-40 so I guess that makes me old school (or maybe just cheap).
