I went out and bought the ATS compleat stage 4 tranny setup! I cant wait to get it in and see what a diffrence it makes! It better make a big one at 4000 bucks! But i love the facts that i can run as much HP as i want now!

:'( My tranny is about to bite the big one too. I wish I could afford a new ATS or any other performance tranny. Let us know how it performs. Are you putting it in yourself?

 

I've had mine now for about a month and still all ;D ;D ;D ;D. I know it is expensive but if you have any intentions of adding horsepower, it's a must have. My wife even likes to drive my truck now ???. There is no doubt that the power is going to the ground. ;D

 

yeah im putting it in myself because im now really poor and i dont trust any tranny shops around here thats one of the other reasons i went with the ATS because they make a good product and ive heard some horror stories about the ones around me. I cant wait to get it in! I will be getting a fuel plate from TST after i pay off the tranny!

Congradulations on the ATS purchase, I hope it is everything you want. I have been very happy with mine, and I am sure you will be to. It does make a bigg difference in the way the truck feels, to be it made it feel lighter,more nibble. It just drives better, and more fun. Not so slow and heavey feeling, the thing acutally moves out now. I would say after the install you will be spending much more. I did, the thing felt so much better, I just felt like doing more to it. The TST plate would be a great start, and next you will want a E-brake. They work very nice with the AST Commander. Oh, the "I just sold my soul" line is alittle over the top. You didn't sell your soul, you bought a transmission. Now if you would have stolen a transmission, that might be different.
