Okay, so what's better - A BHAF, or a Scotty II?

It depends on the power rating your trying to achieve. They are both equal for a stock or mildly modified engine.
Once you start really bombing the truck, you'll defiantly want to go with the Scotty II.

Go with the Scotty II and only do it once! The Scooty II functions very well without the hole...or with the hole covered up, even under heavy throttle. It will take you right up to twins...if you go that far.
Also quietier than a BHAF, IMO, with the hole covered up, that is.
